Material Tests Non-Destructive Testing 

GCI offers services in carrying out non-destructive testing of the material of the customer:

　　• ultrasonic control;

　　• visual inspection;

　　• Oxide control

　　• thickness measuring;

　　• capillary control method;

　　• dielectric method.

Non-destructive testing is carried out by the experts who had special education in the international center and having the second level of certification according to ISO 9712.Testing is made on the transportable equipment belonging to the Company that allows defining the venue of testing at the request of the Customer.

Controlled subjects:

　　hot-rolled plate steel;

　　forgings;

　　details after machining (shaft for the utility equipment, axis rollers, drafts, rolls of rolling mills, shaft for shipbuilding);

　　preparation;

　　weld joints;

　　metalwork;

　　welded pipes and pipelines;

　　railway wheels, axes.

Materials: carbonaceous and alloy steel

Additional examinees materials:

　　anticorrosion polyethylene coating;

　　anticorrosion polypropylene coating;

　　anticorrosion epoxy coating.

　　measurement of the thickness of covering ultra-sonic thickness indicator;

　　determination of defects of a covering (visual, spark defect score);

　　repair of a covering.
